Brief Biography

I trained in Paris with Veronique Masurel, a painter herself trained in the school of Bissiere and Bertholle.  I also studied at the Ecole Normale Superieure des Beaux Arts.

I have been painting for over twenty five years, concentrating mainly in oil painting and gouache.

I have a PhD in the Philosophy of Art and have published a book The Phenomenology of Painting, with Cambridge University Press.
